Fraunhofer-Business Area Cleaning
On February 19 and 20, 2025, we were represented for the first time at the Maintenance Trade Fair in Dortmund at the joint stand of Fraunhofer’s Smart Maintenance Community! This leading specialist event for industrial maintenance provided an excellent platform for exchanging the latest innovations and trends.
With just over 300 exhibitors, the trade fair was fully booked, and the Smart Maintenance Community (SMC) of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft was represented with a large joint booth and representatives from 14 community institutes. With a variety of exhibits in the areas of predictive maintenance, spare parts management, and artificial intelligence, as well as the important topic of cleaning processes for maintenance, the SMC joint stand was THE attraction for trade fair visitors. Additionally, there was the opportunity to discuss the future of maintenance with our experts.
On both days, the trade fair and the concurrently held PUMPS & VALVES recorded a record visitor count of 6,289! This was also reflected in the number of trade fair contacts for the Smart Maintenance Community of the Fraunhofer Society. With 159 recorded contact forms and a total of 178 Leads collected, we are right in the middle of the follow-up process!
With a trade fair stand measuring 21 meters in length, 4 meters in width, and a total of 14 represented institutes, we were present in full strength. We also engaged in the accompanying lecture forum ScienceCenter with exciting contributions on forward-looking technologies and best practices.
