In September we celebrated! The Association for Industrial Parts Cleaning (FiT) celebrated its 20th anniversary in Dresden on September 11-12, 2024, as part of the Industrial Parts Cleaning Conference. The Cleaning division represented by the Fraunhofer FEP used the home advantage and of course congratulated duly.
We look back on two exciting, informative and interesting days at the 32nd Industrial Parts Cleaning Conference, which took place from September 11th to 12th, 2024 at the Dorint Hotel in Dresden. Despite the surprising events surrounding the bridge collapse in Dresden, which fortunately took place without any personal injury, the Association for Industrial Parts Cleaning (FiT) once again offered a varied program with current developments and trends in cleaning technology as well as a profitable exchange with experts from various industrial sectors.
Under the motto “FiT - 20 years in the service of industrial parts cleaning - a look back and two ahead”, the program also offered an exciting insight to the history of FiT, with development highlights and keynote speeches on new challenges. The Fraunhofer-Business Area Cleaning was represented on site with an exhibition stand and provided information about current offers and our comprehensive range of services.
The successful evening event offered many opportunities for professional dialogue with stakeholders and participants. Following the second day of the event, the regular general meeting of FiT e.V. took place, which included the election of the board for the next three years. We wish all elected board members continued success in their voluntary work to further develop the association's work!
A special highlight was the congratulations and the “fitting” gift from our colleagues: 20% more fit for the FiT to be fit for the next 20 years! - An anniversary edition of the traditional Saxon cleaning agent as a friendly gesture for our joint commitment to innovative solutions in parts cleaning and continued good cooperation!
