Fraunhofer-Business Area Cleaning
The Süddeutscher Verlag Veranstaltungen GmbH (SV Veranstaltungen - now ULTIMAMEDIA) invited participants to the 7th Conference on Film Contamination, held from November 12 to 13, 2024, in Bad Gögging.
Around 80 professionals and experts from the fields of research, production, and quality assurance attended the event, gaining comprehensive insights into the latest developments and technologies related to contamination and the technological and analytical possibilities of relevant cleaning processes.
On November 13, Frank-Holm Rögner from Fraunhofer FEP presented on "Removal of Heavily Encrusted Organic Contaminants - The Potential of Phase Fluids." The focus of this presentation was on the fundamentals of phase fluids and how they can provide solutions for difficult contaminants. This was illustrated with three case studies, one of which involved the removal of aged adhesive tape.
We are already looking forward to the next conference on October 21 – 22, 2025, in Bad Gögging, themed: Film Contamination & Clean Manufacturing Processes, to gain further insights into state-of-the-art methods and practical solutions.
